Deutschland Cup 2017: Russland komplettiert Teilnehmerfeld

deb russland 2014 3 (Deutschlandcup) Eishockey der Spitzenklasse: Beim Deutschland Cup 2017 wird Russland neben den USA und der Slowakei der dritte Gegner der deutschen Nationalmannschaft sein. Das Vier-Nationen-Turnier findet vom 10. bis 12. November 2017 bereits zum dritten Mal im Augsburger Curt-Frenzel-Stadion statt.


Zuletzt traf die Nationalmannschaft 2016 im Viertelfinale der WM in Moskau auf die Sbornaja, wo sie sich 1:4 geschlagen geben musste. Die Mannschaft um Bundestrainer Marco Sturm trifft auch bei der 2017 IIHF Eishockey-Weltmeisterschaft in Köln auf den Weltranglisten-Zweiten. Wenige Monate vor den Olympischen Spielen 2018 ist beim Deutschland Cup damit wieder ein erstklassiges Teilnehmerfeld am Start und für Spannung gesorgt.
