Deutschlandcup 2014 - Schweiz besiegt Slowakei und wird Zweiter
(Deutschlandcup) Am letzten Tag des Deuschlandcup 2014 in München verabschiedete sich die Schweiz mit einem 2:1 Erfolg über die Slowakei und belegt damit den zweiten Platz vor der Slowakei und Kanada als Turnierletzter. Deutschland stand bereits gestern als Deutschlandcup Sieger 2014 fest.
Erneut war die Eissporthalle in München bereits am Nachmittag gut gefüllt, musste jedoch bis zur 36. Minute warten, ehe die Torsirene zum ersten Mal aufheulte. Adam Lapsansky erzielte die Führung für die Slowakei mit einem unhaltbaren Handgelenkschuss unter die Latte. Beide Teams gaben über den gesamten Verlauf des Spiels noch einmal richtig Gas und zeigten auch harte aber faire Zweikämpfe.

Im letzten Abschnitt folgte dann von der Schweiz innerhalb von nur 60 Sekunden ein Doppelschlag, der das Spiel drehte. Erst war es in der 45. Minute Lino Martschini (EV Zug) der den Ausgleich erzielte und kurz darauf, praktisch direkt bei der nächsten Aktion erzielte dann Samuel Walser den 2:1 Siegtreffer.
Nach dem gestrigen Sieg der Schweizer über Team Kanada stand das Team von Bundestrainer Pat Cortina bereits als Deutschlandcup Sieger 2014 fest und trifft am späten Nachmittag zum Abschluss auf die Ahornblätter.
